The Division of Campus Safety and Security at Texas A&M University San Antonio is pleased to announce the campus Mass Notification System database currently has nearly 4000 contact numbers for emergency notification of students, faculty and staff. Maintaining the accuracy of that emergency contact database is essential each semester. If your phone number has changed since you completed a REVERSE 911 form during the Parking Pass registration process, please complete this form: Reverse 911 and return it to the UPD Office, Main Campus, Office 151. Blackboard Log in Instructions:

Student Log-In Students Blackboard User ID and Password will consist of their Windows Login Username (also known as your K Number (K00001234). Password will be their Date of Birth (MMDDYY). Some student accounts have been created in Blackboard, for those students that are unable to log in to blackboard please check with your instructor.

Faculty Log-In Faculty's Blackboard User ID will be their first initial of their first name and first seven characters of their last name. (John Doe=jdoe) Password will be their Banner ID (also known as their K Number (K00001234).

If you have unsuccessfully logged into Blackboard more than 3 times your account will be locked for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes you can attempt to login with your correct password. If you continue to have an issue please contact IS HelpDesk for assistance.

  • SPRING 2012 REGISTRATION (Wednesday, December 7, 2011)

    SPRING 2012 REGISTRATION:  Advisors are now seeing students on a walk-in basis from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday!   If you have not registered for the spring 2012 semester and need help, take time NOW to visit your academic advisor.   Extended hours are also an option – for more information contact the advising center at (210) 932-7134.  For additional assistance regarding registration, financial aid, scholarship opportunities, etc.  please stop by the “Welcome Center” or call us at (210)932-6299.

  • Blackboard Best Practices (Monday, November 28, 2011)

    While ITS works to update our Blackboard LMS to the most current version, we recommend the following when using Blackboard, more specifically when taking online tests, assignment submissions and  posting to discussion boards. 

    Use the preferred Internet browser, “Mozilla Firefox” which can be downloaded free from the web.

    Do not use a wireless connection.

    Make sure you have the latest version of Java installed on your computer.

    Click the submit button once when you are finished with your test.
